"Convert your batch-script files to exe files"

"Convert your batch-script files to exe files"
Overview
Bat To Exe Converter is a software package that will convert executable BAT script files into EXE files that can be more easily loaded and executed.
The package is designed to accept all types of functional batch script files (BAT files) that already work correctly and execute their task to completion. These can then be loaded directly into the Bat to Exe Converter program. There is “Save as” option where the file name needs to be entered and then when pressing the “Compile” button the tool will go ahead and compile up the batch script into a fully functional executable file.
The program does come with a few extra options such as how visible the application should be, which directory the executable file should be saved to, if temporary files should be deleted, and whether to encrypt the executable file. There is also a decompiler, should the need arise, to decompile the executable file; bear in mind that if a batch file was compiled by this application with a password included then that'll need to be entered correctly in order to decompile the executable file back to a batch file again.
The compiled executable file doesn't come with any royalty or fees as the program itself is free.
Installation
Installed was easy to complete and completed without any issues.
Bat To Exe Converter requires a Windows OS to install it.
Interface
The interface is fairly basic as it only needs to include a way to add the batch file and select the compile option which is all completed on the main window.
There are other options to determine the visibility of the application, the directory to save to, whether temporary files should be deleted, if password protection should be enacted with a created executable file, and to provide access to the decompiler, but all these options are easy to locate within the application.
Pros
  • Convert already functional BAT files into free-standing executable files
  • Add password protection to your BAT file code by compiling them to executables using Bat to Exe Converter
  • Decompile back to BAT files when needed (password protected executables will require the password to decrypt them)
Cons
None.
Alternatives
Quick Batch File CompilerBAT to EXEAdvanced BAT to EXE Converter.
Conclusion
Bat To Exe Converter is a useful little utility for anyone who creates BAT files with their executable code and would prefer to password protect their code in an executable file instead. This tool can also decompile back to the BAT file too.
